The Ending of Violet Evergarden: The Movie. I donāt know, but it always puts me off in a way I donāt like, I love the movie, but the ending just soured it for me as Violet chose to be with Gilbert on the island as opposed to staying in Leiden with Gilbert. It kinda was a blow to me as she left everything to be with Gilbert.
Violet's development as a character has been tremendous and it has been handled the best way possible. What we are witnessing now is sort of like an After Story. I pointed out that the reason why episode 9 was called "Violet Evergarden" because it marked the completion of her character and a key point in the story.
